Dosing Protocols

Beginner Dosing:


  • Dosage: Start with 1 cap of (50mg or 100mg) in the morning or early afternoon.


  • Timing: Take it on a partially empty stomach, not completely empty or full, for optimal effects.


  • Frequency: Wait 1-3 days between doses to integrate experiences and gauge long-term tolerance and impact.


  • Activities: Enhance your experience with nature walks, baths, yoga, sound baths, meditation, or other relaxing and creative activities. Prioritize rest and activities that calm the nervous system, especially on microdosing days.


Intermediate to Experienced Dosing:


  • Dosage: Take 1-3 caps of (100mg) anytime before 3pm, with mornings providing more of a boost.


  • Frequency: Wait 1 or 2 days between doses based on your needs and symptoms.


  • For Severe Symptoms: For severe depression, anxiety, or ADHD, consider a 1-2 week regimen of daily microdosing combined with an intensive sleep protocol, such as magnesium and GABA before bed.


Intuitive Dosing


  • Approach: Popular among many users, especially parents, intuitive dosing means taking microdoses as needed for a boost. They’re often described as 'on-demand antidepressants.'


  • Feedback: Effective for combating depression and emotional overwhelm related to hormonal shifts, PMS, and PPMD. This method allows for both therapeutic and recreational use, making them a great alcohol substitute at social gatherings.


  • Recreational Use: Try two or three doses over an evening or afternoon with friends. Most people dose twice a week, with possibly more frequent doses on weekends.


Things to Consider:


  • Low Doses: Start and maintain a low dose for as long as possible to ensure consistent impact and effectiveness. Taking 1-2+ days off between doses is suggested.


  • Integration: Use the days between doses for integrating insights and awareness. Off days are goldmines for personal growth.


  • Factors: Consider body mass, hormonal cycles, and food intake when determining the appropriate dose. Stay hydrated and well-fed.

  • SSRIs: Some SSRIs can block the effects of psilocybin. If you suspect this, experiment with larger doses (150-200mg) if needed.
